How to Prepare Sweet Corn 3 Ways

Steam the Corn

Step 1: Steam the Corn

Take 3 cups of frozen corn and add ½ cup of water in a deep pan or kadai. Mix well so the water coats all the corn. Cover with a lid and steam on medium flame for 5 minutes. Stir once in between. The corn should be fully puffed and cooked, with no water left in the pan.

Step 2: Classic Butter Corn

  1. Take 1 cup of hot steamed corn in a bowl.
  2. Add 1 tsp cold butter (this gives the best flavor), salt, and black pepper powder.
  3. Mix thoroughly until butter melts and coats the corn evenly.

Your classic butter corn is ready to serve!
